Chickens and Turkeys are on pasture – free range. They are fed grain as this is a natural part of their diet with no added anti-biotics, no growth hormones and no animal by-products.
Chickens
Chickens are generally available all year round. They are only available as whole roasting chickens. Sizes range from 5 to 8 pounds. Price per pound: $3.79. Place your order on the Beef order sheet.
Turkeys
Turkeys can be ordered for Thanksgiving and Christmas times only. You can order online or at St. Norbert’s Market. Pick up for Thanksgiving is available at the market 2 weeks before Thanksgiving up to the last day at the market in October.
Weight: 15 – 25 lbs is normal. We sometimes have smaller ones. Ask us!
